Zoë Human (27) is a TV presenter, entertainment reporter and content creator based in Cape Town, South Africa.

Born in Cape Town Zoë received her high school education at Reddam House Constantia.

Matriculating in 2015, she went on to study Drama at Stellenbosch University, majoring in radio work and acting. In 2019 she completed her Honours in Journalism.

While studying Zoë served as a member of Metanoia Residence’s house committee. Her portfolios included Vensters (Connect), Socials and Womxn Empowerment.

As a prerequisite of her Honours course she was required to complete an internship at a media house of her choosing. The week following her thesis hand-in (November 2019) Zoë began the process at SABC 3’s feel good breakfast show – Expresso.

After 4 weeks she was offered a permanent position in Expresso’s digital department. Still working with the Cardova company, where she has been a permanent member ever since. After completing an undergrad in Drama & postgrad in Journalism, both at Stellenbosch University. Other shows worked on include Pasella, Afternoon Express & Colour My Plate with KOO.

In Feb 2023, Zoë was invited to audition for Cape Town TV’s music video show – ‘Homegrown’ and after a year she was moved to Cape Town TV’s SAFTA-nominated ‘Ekse Live’. Zoë’s time on screen has gone beyond presenting, she has acted in TV & film as well as multiple music videos including Shangri-La by Die Heuwels Fantasties and Tresor. She has also modelled for brands such as Veldeskoen, Old Khaki, Amanxi Clothing and BRAhSSE. When not in front of the camera, Zoë is also to work as a photographer.

Zoë pad content creation journey began in 2019. Her proudest collabs to date include Amazon, Reebok, Woolworths, The Body Shop, Essence & The Waterfront (to name a few).

A highlight in her writing career came in 2019 when her poetry on gender-based violence was read in Parliament.

Her passion for bringing an end to gender-based violence has resulted in her becoming a board of director for Post To Parliament (P2P). P2P is an NPO creating an educational curriculum engaging young people on GBV.

In 2024 was a finalist in the Heart FM traffic idol search. While she was not the ultimate winner, the opportunity opened many doors for her including, developing a relationship with SA Rugby and MCing for the Springbok Women.

Zoe spends her free time either on the rugby field or fueling her passion for community with her podcast ‘Between the Cheeks’. And in 2025, Zoe has become known as Expresso’s Film & Entertainment reporter.
